Marketing Specialist – SEO and SEM Job in Wipro Bangalore
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for managing the search engine optimization (SEO) of the corporate website, managing the search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns focused on increasing search engine visibility and handling special website projects.
- Work with marketing teams & agencies towards developing landing pages, microsites and driving special website projects.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategy towards driving more traffic and increasing engagement to landing pages and microsites.
- Work closely with the marketing teams & agencies to support SEO & SEM initiatives.
- Focus on improving Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) for the corporate website.
- Implement SEO and paid advertising strategy.
- Work with agencies in identifying target keywords, reviewing meta-data & implementing them.
- Work towards developing link building strategy for the website and their implementation.
- Conducting ad-hoc competitor research activities, identify trends and give appropriate recommendations to marketing teams on the best SEO practices.
- Monitor and report on KPI’s, using Analytics tools, Adwords and social insight tools.
- Generate monthly reports on SERPs and advertising engagement for different campaigns.
- Generate regular & ad-hoc analytics reports of various sections of the website based on requests from different stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 7-8 years of relevant experience in handling large/corporate websites and implementing SEO & SEM strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Proven experience in handling and implementing the SEO/SEM activities for large websites.
- Proven SEM experience managing ad campaigns across search engines.
- Understanding of digital marketing and how SEO/SEM fits into larger marketing initiatives.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Good understanding of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
